Snowfish is a venture of Rahul Exports, a reputed international seafood exporting company based in Cochin, specialising in merchandising, seafood trading, and processing. In the last 35 years, we have shipped over 1000 containers of frozen and fresh products to our partners in Asia, Canada, USA and the EMEA.
The dawn of realization struck us and we created Snowfish, our local arm committed to supply seafood of unparalleled standards to our sweet, calm yet vibrant Cochin community.
We cater to the needs of the people of Kochi; closely interacting with customers (fondly called കൊച്ചികാര് by some), hearing out concerns in acquiring quality seafood, analyzing buying preferences, and sharing our tips and expertise.

How We Ensure Quality Standards
1 Procuring
We procure the daily catch from the hardworking fishermen who brave treacherous conditions. The fish is then segregated.
2 Rinsing
It’s then rinsed with water filtered through reverse osmosis technology to ensure the foreign particles are washed away and kept in crushed ice.
3 Preparing
When an order is placed, the fish is cleaned gutted, scaled, skinned, peeled & cut based on the fish category.
4 Cleaning
The fish is further cleaned in flowing, fresh water to make it free of bloodstains.
5 Cooling
We add crushed ice to bring the core temperature down (below “0” degrees) to preserve the freshness.
6 Transporting
The stacks of fish are brought to our base where it’s packaged & stored.
